It’s Halloween in the United States and that is of course increasingly spreading to the Netherlands. At least part of it, because while children indeed go door to door in some neighborhoods and people also like to decorate their houses in a creepy way, there is one thing we don’t see in the Netherlands. Dressing up.
Rivian or KITT?
Some people dress up as a zombie, but some people dress up for Halloween the way we dress up for Dutch carnival: as a celebrity or a certain profession. And now your Rivian car can join in too.
At least ‘your car’ won’t be too bad, because there are no Rivians for sale in the Netherlands yet. The expectation is that the Rivian R2 will come to the Netherlands, but it will take some time before that happens. So we’ll just enjoy the pictures from America for a while. And specifically now, because Rivian has managed to make the car KITT. Remember KITT? It is the black car of the Knight Rider: the Rivian is not being turned into a Pontiac Trans Am (that would make a world of difference, motorwise), but on the inside it looks just like KITT in terms of lighting.
